Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 Launched in Champagne Gold Color in China at CNY 1,499
Xiaomi, the Chinese technology giant launched its new tablet Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 in its home tech market. The new tablet has already popped-up on the company's Chinese website with details of its specifications and features. The tablet is seen in Champagne Gold color having a price tag of CNY 1,499 (Approximately $217).
According to Xiaomi, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 exterior detailing is very similar to its predecessor Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. However, there are many upgrades made in terms of specifications and features by the company. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 sports an all-metal casing and an amazing 7.9-inch Retina display with a resolution of 2048 pixels by 1536 pixels with a pixel density of 326ppi. The tablet has an overall measurement of 200.4x132.6x6.95mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 322 grams.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 is powered by hexa-core MediaTek MT8176 processor paired with 4GB LPDDR3 of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The tablet does not offer any slot for storage expansion.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 features 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1080p HD and the front face of the smartphone has a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 is equipped with a bigger battery than its predecessor. The device features a 6600mAh battery with a standby time of up to 867 hours. The tablet comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow Operating system with MIUI 8 on top.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 includes various connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C, Bluetooth v4.1, and GPS. The tablet's measurements also stay the same at 200.4x132.6x6.95mm, but weighs slightly more than the Mi Pad 2 at 322 grams, probably due to the large battery.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 tablet was launched two years back sports a 7.90-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 2048 by 1536 pixels at a PPI of 326 pixels per inch. Under the hood, it is powered by 1.44GHz quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with no storage expansion option.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 sports an 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It is powered by a 6190mAh non removable battery and the device measures 200.40 x 132.60 x 6.95 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 322.00 grams.
