DJ’s Christian Daycare in Henderson, Nevada, is currently the focus of a police investigation into allegations a worker grabbed a 3-year-old girl and pulled her into an area off-camera Friday, according to KTNV-TV.

A Nevada daycare is under fire after surveillance video surfaced allegedly showing them abusing kids left in their care, according to a report.

DJ's Christian Daycare in Henderson, Nevada, is currently the focus of a police investigation into allegations that a worker grabbed a 3-year-old girl and pulled her into an area off-camera Friday, according to KTNV-TV. 

The victim's parents, Kayla Zomerdyk and Nashawn Royal, are looking to press charges and shutter the business.

The accusations have prompted other parents to come forward with the experiences of their own children.

Bre Meyers said the footage brought back feelings of "rage and pain, because had SVU actually investigated a year and a half ago in 2022... no other child, no other parent would have to go through the pain that we've gone through."

Meyers alleged her 1-year-old daughter was abused by a worker in August of that year.

"I put my daughter in the bathtub, and upon taking off her onesie, all you see is bruises down her side," Meyers recalled to the station. "I couldn't even hold my daughter without her being in excruciating pain because it was as if someone picked her up... and aggressively grabbed her [so] that it created handprint bruises on my 1-year-old child."

"The police department failed a lot of kids, not just my own," she alleged.

At the time, a report done by the Department of Health and Human Service said they found no evidence of wrongdoing, according to KTNV.

Former workers claimed they quit the daycare in 2018 and 2019 after allegedly witnessing the mistreatment of children by other staff members. 

The daycare's attorney James Olson said he is waiting for police to complete their investigation before he can comment, the outlet reported.

No charges have been filed.
