Many think of entrepreneurs as cold, calculating individuals, making purely pragmatic decisions necessary to improve their bottom line. In truth, the passion needed to start and succeed with a business can make emotional entrepreneurship more common than one might think. Traders and investors, after all, rely mainly on so-called animal spirits when deciding when to buy, sell, and hold, according to the Economist. When talking about success, most top entrepreneurs like Bill Gates credit their mindset as one of the most important deciding factors.

Self-made entrepreneur and Roughnecks eCom founder Reco Jefferson knows this lesson better than most. A USAF veteran, software engineer, and full-time father, Reco was able to use his military discipline and determination to build a seven-figure automation business from scratch in spite of continuous personal challenges.

Reco recalls how his divorce came to a head just as he was beginning to find success in e-commerce automation. "I think what really was a turning point for me was when I had a nasty divorce just as Roughnecks was really starting to pop off. At the time, I went from $40,000 revenue per month to almost zero because I couldn't really focus on anything. I set it as my make-or-break moment, and I knew that if I let it keep affecting my business, I would fail. Either I had to suck it up and keep moving forward, or give up. And giving up was never an option."

Reco overcame his challenges and leveraged his mentality to make Roughnecks one of the top automation services on the market. Reco Jefferson and his team have built a reputation for their determined, no-nonsense approach in a space where many would rather lie and exaggerate.

"I think it's the people who have the pie-in-the-sky, get-rich-quick mentality that kind of gives the automation space a bad name," he says. "It just doesn't work that way. I always tell clients to be comfortable with where they put their money. Of course, there's risk, and it's part of what we manage. But like anything in life, it's a risk that can be controlled. You just have to be consistent, focus on having steady returns, and sustaining them. When you face losses, you have to realize that the sun is going to rise and set tomorrow no matter how you feel and plan accordingly."

Today, Reco Jefferson has helped hundreds of sellers on platforms like Amazon and Shopify achieve passive income through full automation. To read more about these testimonies and Reco's services, you can visit his Instagram, @roughneck_actual.
