The Sacramento Kings reportedly want to see how next season goes before deciding whether to trade All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins. There would certainly be a market for Cousins if he were to become available, with the Boston Celtics believed to be the team most interested in acquiring him.

There've been trade rumors regarding Cousins since Sacramento hired coach George Karl in February. None of the rumors suggested a trade was imminent, but they did indicate the Kings weren't against trading Cousins for the right offer. The latest report, however, claims Sacramento won't seriously consider any offers for Cousins until next summer - depending on how the 2015-16 season goes.

"From what I have been told the Kings want to give the Cousins/Karl situation a full season before they make drastic changes," Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders wrote Tuesday.

As for Cousins, Kyler reported in May the 24-year-old isn't pushing for a trade and wants to see how next season plays out. Cousins is under contract until summer of 2018.

Cousins is a premier center, but there're two factors that have some NBA observers saying it's only a matter of time before Sacramento trades him: One, Cousins and Karl's personalities could clash, and two, Karl's offenses typically haven't been built around the kind of low-post play Cousins excels at.

If Sacramento did decide to part with Cousins, the top suitor for him appears to be the Celtics. Multiple reports, including ones from Sporting News and ESPN, claim Boston is very interested in the big man. Helping Boston's chances are the 15 draft picks it has stockpiled over the next two seasons.
