A 2-year-old boy who went missing in Rhode Island has been found wandering the streets of Providence after an Amber Alert was put out on the boy Sunday.

According to Johnston Police Deputy Chief Daniel Parrillo, authorities found Isaih Perez walking by himself on the streets of the city. Two men have been taken into police custody in connection with the kidnapping of the boy as well as a double homicide. Neither of the two men were with Isaih when he was found by police Tuesday.

"A patrol man found him while on patrol just walking on the sidewalk. We don't know he was dropped off, if he was left off there, we don't have any particulars at this time," he said.

Authorities arrested Daniel Rodriguez and Malcom Crowell in Providence and Fall River Massachusetts respectively. The two men were believed to be the culprits behind the break in that left Evelyn Burgos, 40 and her daughter Vanessa Perez, 25 dead from gunshot wounds. Rodriguez is reported to have been Burgos' boyfriend but not the boy's father according to the The Providence Journal. Crowell was released from custody after Massachusetts State Police said he had no involvement in the murders. However, Johnston Police Chief Richard Parrillo still claims he is a suspect. Cowell was Vanessa Perez's boyfriend and attempted to help authorities find the child. Burgos' 2-year-old son was reportedly abducted by Rodriguez but was he was not found with him. Isaiah is now in the care of state child welfare officials.

Charges are likely to be filed on Monday, according to CNN. Isaih was taken to the hospital when he was found so that he could be checked out by doctors. He appeared to be in good health according to Parrillo.

The crimes took place in Johnston, a town of 30,000 people located just 10 miles away from Providence. There's no word yet on how the toddler found his way to the city. Two other children were in the home at the time of the shooting. They have been taken into state custody and will be released to the care of family members soon.
