Archie Panjabi can neither confirm nor deny that she and Julianna Margulies filmed their final scene together in "The Good Wife" season finale.

"All I can say is this: the decision making process is not something I'm privy to," Panjabi told E! News.

Creators Michelle and Robert King had promised a satisfying ending to the Alicia and Kalinda relationship that went underserved for nearly four seasons. They almost pulled it off until eagle-eye viewers realized that something about their last scene together just wasn't right.

The lighting was off. The actresses never made physical contact. Their faces weren't clearly visible in over-the-shoulder shots.

The scene reportedly shot a couple takes so Panjabi and Margulies could film it separately, according to TVLine. The show employed body doubles for the single shots and the two-shot was spliced together to make it appear Alicia and Kalinda were sitting at the bar together.

Panjabi also revealed that "Good Wife" fans have probably seen the last of her leather-clad investigator, who skipped town in the season six finale earlier this month.

"She came in as a mystery and left as a mystery," the Emmy-winning actress told E! News.

"The Good Wife" will return for a seventh season this fall on CBS.
