Soon-to-be free agent Goran Dragic appears to be a lock to re-sign with the Miami Heat this summer. The latest report indicates Dragic "very much" likes Heat president Pat Riley, who's supposedly pledged to the point guard that the offense will move a lot faster next season.

From Day 1 in Miami, all signs have pointed to Dragic staying in South Beach beyond this season. Those signs continue to point that with, with Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reporting Dragic and Riley are on the same page.

"Heat guard Goran Dragic, an impending free agent, feels strongly that the Heat must play faster and has been assured that's a key part of the Pat Riley/Erik Spoelstra master plan, according to an associate," Jackson wrote Sunday. "We're told Dragic very much likes (Heat coach Erik) Spoelstra and Riley and nothing to this point has changed regarding the Heat's status as front-runners to keep him. The Lakers, Knicks, New Orleans, Milwaukee, Sacramento are all expected to have interest."

Money, playing time and a big market seem to be Dragic's biggest concerns, and the Heat can offer him all three. Miami can - and likely will - offer Dragic a maximum five-year contract that no other team can, and the organization likely sees the 29-year-old as the heir apparent to Dwyane Wade.

Dragic is expected to opt out of his contract by the end of next month and to re-sign with Miami shortly after free agency begins on July 1.
