A home video of a police officer chasing and pulling over his kids for being "too cute" has gone viral.

The adorable moment shows Roanoke City police officer Kenny Bowman, an officer in Roanoke, Virginia, stopping his daughter Rylee, six, and her little brother Blake, four, as they rode a plastic motorized pink Jeep around their front yard.

Bowman pretended to pull over his two kids in the driveway to make a video and send an important message about safety, according to CBS affiliate WDBJ.

"The other side of the badge, I guess you could call it, we all have families just like most people do," Bowman said.

The kids told their uniformed dad in the video to "mind his own business" before they hit the power wheel while Bowman chased after them.

Bowman posted the video to add a lighter side to policing and remind the public that cops have families too, the Daily Mail reported.

He also told CBS News that he hopes the video could improve communication between the people and the police.
