Zack Clements, a Texas teen was clinically dead for 20 minutes and unconscious for three days, woke up caliming he saw and talked to Jesus.

The 17-year-old shared his experience with People magazine while at the Fort Worth's Children's Medical Center, saying that he saw Jesus, who had a thick beard, blue eyes, and long ruffled hair. He was also surrounded by angels.

"I realized it was Jesus," said Clements. "He put his hand on my shoulder and told me that everything was going to be all right. It made me feel like someone was watching over me and I was going to get through it. Since it happened, I feel like I'm a stronger person."

"We've had people say he's lying, or that we gave him a pill before school that day so it would look like he'd gone into cardiac arrest," says Clements' father, Billy Clements

"For him to wake up and tell us something he experienced like that. It's just – you can't explain it. It's not humanly possible to explain it," he added, according to DailyMail.

The whole event occurred when Clements passed out on the football field during endurance training.

Gary Bay, principal of the Christian High School, says Clements situation was one of the "gravest" he'd ever seen.

Meanwhile, Dr. Lisa Roten, one of the cardiologists who helped treat Clements, said he was "legally dead for 20 minutes" and they "worried he may have suffered irreversible brain damage," according to The Inquisitr‎.

After the incident, the teenager said he felt humbled and blessed.

"I'm just really thankful to everybody who pulled together to help me that day," he said. "It's kind of overwhelming. I guess you could say the whole experience has made me a more humble person. I'm happy to be here."
