Paiglynn Raymond, a 15-year-old high school student from Texas, hasn't been seen since April 17, when she hitched a ride with a truck driver, according to a county sheriff.

While police try to bring Paiglynn home safely to her family, the teenagers' parents are speaking out about their missing daughter exclusively to HNGN True Crime Contributor Jon Leiberman.

Video camera footage from Sabine High School in Liberty City, Texas, showed Paiglynn going to her locker and looking at something that "grabbed her attention" shortly before she fled school grounds, according to Kilgore News Herald.

"There's just a perceptible change in her body posture," Paiglynn's grandmother Vickie Raymond explained. "She props up against that and you can tell she's in great concentration."

The video then shows Paiglynn walking out of the high school and toward Interstate 20.

Paiglynn reportedly told the truck driver who picked her up that she was 19 years old, and also gave him a fake name. Gregg County Sheriff's Office Lt. Kirk Haddix said that the truck driver has been cooperative with law enforcement officials, and is not in any trouble due to Paiglynn's disappearance.

Paiglynn's family is not convinced that the driver (who remains unnamed) wasn't previously arranged to pick her up on the highway.

The teenage girl has been dubbed as a "chatterbox," and the family wishes that the truck driver's name was revealed so that they could talk to him.

"You can't tell me they did not spend three hours in a truck, and he got no more than the cover story," Vickie Raymond said. "And yet he denies having any other information, and we have a problem with that."

Paiglynn may have cut and dyed her hair a different color. This information comes from a friend who may have had recent contact with her, but investigators are not sure what color hair she has now, according to Newsjournal.com.

"She has not contacted any family members," Haddix said. "She told a friend she was headed to New York to visit a friend."

Paiglynn is described as being 5-foot-6-inches tall, 135 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes. She was wearing blue jeans, black and white shoes and carrying a grey backpack at the time she went missing.

Anyone with information about Paiglynn should call Investigator Jon Fulgham at (903) 237-2531 or Crime Stoppers at (903) 236-8408.
