It didn't take long for the 2015 NBA playoffs to give fans a Game 7. Los Angeles tied the series at 3-3 on Thursday after a 102-96 win over San Antonio, thanks to Blake Griffin's 26 points and 12 rebounds and Chris Paul's 19 points and 15 assists. Despite his team's season on the line, though, Paul admitted he felt at ease playing in Game 6.

"It was probably one of the most relaxed games we've had as far as our mentality," Paul told the Associated Press. "We just stayed the course. Tonight was one of the funnest games of the series. It seems like it's easy to say that because we won. That definitely helps, but just the intensity of it. I think we just never got rattled."

For Clippers coach Doc Rivers, the win showed the resilience of his team.

"I've been saying it all year, this team is tough," Rivers said. "They are mentally tough. We hear all the stuff about them, but this team is mentally tough. We've got to do it again."

Spurs forward Marco Belinelli finished with 23 points, including six from two 3-pointers in the final 80 seconds of the game to bring his team within two points of Los Angeles. Center Boris Diaw added 17 points, veteran Tim Duncan added 12 points and 13 rebounds, and forward Kawhi Leonard chipped in with 12 points.

"Our execution at the offensive end was really poor," said San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich. "There's no excuse for it. We should be embarrassed at the way we came out for a closeout game."

For San Antonio, Saturday will be a familiar scenario. The Spurs needed seven games last year to defeat Dallas in the first round, before eventually making it to the finals and winning the championship.
