Houston heads into Sunday looking to complete its sweep of Dallas. The Rockets took a 3-0 lead in the series with Saturday's 130-128 win, with stars James Harden scoring a playoff career-high 42 points and Dwight Howard adding 13 points and a postseason-best 26 rebounds. The Rockets are in a position to close out the series on Sunday, but more importantly Sunday seemed to show Howard is finally healthy after a season of nagging injuries.

"Tonight wasn't my night to score. I was OK with that," said Howard, who scored seven of his 13 points in the fourth quarter, according to ESPN. "But the one thing that I can always control is the paint and just try to get every rebound."

Harden had a strong characterization for his teammate's big night on the glass.

"He was a beast," said Harden.

As for Harden's big night, the MVP candidate said he simply took what the defense gave him.

"The first two games, they kind of put two on the ball and kind of got me off the ball," Harden said. "This game, there were really no traps or anything like that. They were just giving me lanes and letting me be aggressive. So I just tried to read the play and make the best decision."

Dallas, meanwhile, is looking to avoid the sweep and to force a fifth game. Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki and guard Monta Ellis scored 34 points apiece, with Nowitzki grabbing eight rebounds and Ellis dishing nine assists.

"It was an up-and-down game, shot-making and play-making all over the place," said Nowitzki, who scored 16 points in the fourth quarter in the Maverick's near comeback. "This ranks up there with the toughest playoff losses I've had in my long playoff career."
