Ewan McGregor will return to the big-screen musical in Disney's live-action "Beauty and the Beast."

McGregor will play Lumière, the maître d' that turns into a candlestick when the Beast and his castle are placed under a curse, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In the original animated feature, Lumière sings the popular tune, "Be Our Guest," and the song should prove no challenge to McGregor. He famously sang in Baz Luhrmann's musical "Moulin Rouge!" in 2001.

The Scottish actor will join Emma Thompson (Mrs. Potts), Ian McKellen (Cogsworth) and Audra McDonald (Garderobe) as the other servants transformed by the curse in the castle. The all-star cast also includes Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as Beast/Prince, Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as LeFou and Kevin Kline as Maurice.

Bill Condon will direct the Disney live-action movie. Production should begin next month at Shepperton Studios in London.

"Beauty and the Beast" will premiere in theaters on March 17, 2017.
