Hayden Panettiere dished to "Good Morning America" this morning about being a new mom in real life and on screen in "Nashville."

The actress said being a new mom to Kaya Evdokia Klitschko is an "out-of-body" experience.

"Out of body. As you know," Panettiere said to "Good Morning America" co-anchor Lara Spencer, who has two kids of her own. "As long as your kids are healthy and happy and all good, I mean, it's fabulous. It's fabulous!"

Panettiere, 25, added that it changed her whole outlook on life.

"You just reprioritize, as you said before, and you hear that they're healthy and you don't care about yourself anymore. I mean, it's the most out-of-body experience where you go, 'I will completely lay myself on the line for my child,' without even a hesitation."

When Panettiere revealed that she was pregnant with her fiancé Wladimir Klitschko's baby in June 2014, the writers of "Nashville" decided to write her real pregnancy into the script - which worked out well since it was a twist for Panettiere's character, Juliette Barnes, that was likely to come soon anyway.
