Nicki Minaj flashed an extra-large, heart-shaped ring on her left ring finger, which has sparked speculation about a possible engagement with rapper Meek Mill.

Minaj first tweeted a message on Wednesday afternoon that featured three emojis - a ring, a heart, a diamond - and wrote, "I'll post it later." Later, she posted an Instagram photo of her bedazzled nails and the ring. She captioned the photo with a string of emojis including the ring, heart, diamond and five heart-eyed smiley faces.

Minaj and Mill have dodged publicly defining their relationship since February. The couple got together shortly after she split from her longtime boyfriend Safaree Samuels, whom she had dated for 11 years.

The 32-year-old singer spoke about her friendship with the 27-year-old Mill in a February interview with Vogue magazine. She would not confirm whether they were dating.

“Sometimes we hang out, and when we hang out, we have fun,” Minaj said. “People think for some strange reason that we just started becoming friends recently. We’ve been friends for a very, very long time, and he’s been around for a lot of things that I’ve gone through. And that’s all I’ll say about that.”

In his last tweet, Mill responded, “I am!” to a photo of him and Minaj that a fan captioned “You so f***ing lucky n***a.”
