Aaron Hernandez is still a sore subject for the New England Patriots. Rob Gronkowski refused to discuss Hernandez during an interview and became angry, to the point of almost walking off the set, when an interviewer continued to ask, L.A. Times reports.

Don Dahler of "CBS This Morning" couldn't take the hint. "Next question," Gronkowski told Dahler twice when asked about Hernandez.

Unabated, Dahler tried asking Gronkowski's family members, who were also present for the interview, about Hernandez. At that point, Gronkowski had enough.

"I'll walk off right now," he said, standing and waving his hand.

Dahler agreed to change the subject and the interview continued.

The Patriots have been mum about its former tight end. Even Wes Welker, who plays now for the Denver Broncos, declined to comment on Hernandez.

Hernandez, 23, is facing one first-degree murder charge and five gun-related charges in the shooting death of Odin Lloyd.

Gronkowski, meanwhile, is continuing to recover from his recent back surgery.  His status for Week 1 is uncertain.  He appears headed for the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, according to SB Nation.  If the Patriots choose to place the Pro Bowler on the PUP list, he'll miss the first six games of the season.
