After all of these years not seeing one another, Julia Roberts and Richard Gere still have a lot of chemistry.

The cast of "Pretty Woman" is celebrating the film's 25th anniversary with a reunion special that will be aired next week on NBC's "Today."

Director Gary Marshall, Roberts, Gere, co-stars Hector Elizondo and Laura San Giacomo will join Matt Lauer on the Tuesday episode and will share stories of their favorite moments together while making the film.

"Pretty Woman" is the story about a wealthy businessman who falls for a prostitute and proves that love can transcend all boundaries. The film holds the No. 4 spot for the highest-grossing movie in its genre, according to Yahoo!, and is still a go-to pick for anyone who enjoys a good love story.

The 1990 romantic comedy served as a career catalyst for Roberts and Gere - both of whom needed a breakout moment.

The film brought Roberts out of the background and into the forefront as an actress who demanded authority and proved she could handle a leading role and one that's versatile, at that.

Roberts first came on everyone's radar through her roles in 1988's "Mystic Pizza" and "Steel Magnolias" from 1990. The 47-year-old actress received her first Oscar nomination for "Pretty Woman."

Gere, 65, reinvented himself after his appearance in "An Officer and a Gentleman" in 1982, and transformed into a heartthrob and a romantic, and he's been playing the role ever since.

Gere and Roberts fell in love again on the big screen in "Runaway Bride" (1999), but this is the first time the two - and the rest of the "Pretty Woman" cast - are together since the movie was filmed.

Roberts may have traded her fishnets and go-go boots for nude tights and high heels, but she still looks as incredible as when the movie debuted 25 years ago. Same goes for Gere. The whiter his hair gets, the more attractive he is.

What's most surprising about the reunion is that, in recent years, the two stars haven't shown their appreciation for the film that's largely responsible for their launch into the spotlight.

Gere referred to "Pretty Woman" as "a silly romantic comedy" and "my least favorite thing," according to Yahoo!

Roberts suggested she had grown tired of the film, too, and said "I kind of go, 'Another decade? Anything?'" when approached by fans.

You can catch the reunion special on Tuesday, March 24 on "Today," but for now, here is a sneak peek:
