Chris Evans won the Super Bowl bet between him and Chris Pratt and still agreed to dress as his Marvel super hero Captain America to surprise kids at Seattle Children's Hospital.

Pratt accompanied a costumed Evans, complete with Cap's shield, to visit the young patients on March 7. The actors posed for pictures, handed out Marvel-themed toys and, most importantly, put a smile on everyone's face.

Pratt held up his side of the bet last month by dressing as Star-Lord, his character from "Guardians of the Galaxy," and visiting the children at Christopher's Haven in Boston. Evans also had the Seattle Seahawks fan wear a New England Patriot's jersey with Tom Brady's name stitched across the back.

The patients at Seattle Children's range from children to teenagers. The super hero visit helped brighten the day for Maggie Mittelstaedt, an 18-year-old patients recovering from hip replacement surgery.

"I was so excited when I heard they were planning to come to Seattle Children's," Mittelstaedt said on the hospital's blog page. "Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avenger movies are my favorites, so I was hoping I might get a chance to meet them."

For seven-year-old Oskar Beecham and his mom Kelli, Pratt and Evans' visit provided a "nice reprieve" as Oskar suffers from epilepsy.

"So many of our visitors are doctors, and the conversations are medical. I can't wait to watch the Captain America movie with Oskar. It will be like he knows him personally now," Kelli said.

The Marvel actors' efforts have helped Christopher's Haven and Seattle Children's raise more than $27,000 through their #TwitterBowl bet that began in January.

"We are grateful that real-life superheroes Chris Pratt and Chris Evans turned their sports rivalry into an opportunity to support kids in their communities," said Lisa Brandenburg, president of Seattle Children's. "We are delighted that patients and families at both Seattle Children's and Christopher's Haven will benefit from these generous donations."
