Samantha Bee will jump ship at "The Daily Show" to host her own show at TBS.

TBS made the announcement on Thursday, a couple weeks after the network picked up a new comedy starring her husband Jason Jones, which the couple will co-executive produce.

"We're thrilled to have Sam join Jason at TBS and really make this a family affair. We actually have their kids coming in next week to pitch us animated," said Brett Weitz, executive vice president of original programming for TBS, in a statement.

She shared this vague tweet shortly before TBS's announcement went public.

Bee has served as part of "The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart's "Best F#@king News Team" since 2003 and is the longest-running correspondent in the history of the Comedy Central show.

Her new show for TBS, still in the early development stages, will capitalize on her smart and satirical point of view to current and relevant issues, much like she has done for the last 12 years. Bee will also serve as an executive producer on the show along with Jones.

"Like her fans around the country, we absolutely adore everything about Sam, from her straight-faced sarcasm and ruthless wit to her uncanny ability to mine comedy gold from just about any awkward situation. After watching Sam's work for years, we knew that her distinctive humor and talent belong at the front of her own show," Weitz said.

TBS ordered 10-episodes of the untitled, half-hour comedy inspired by Bee and Jones own experiences with family road-trips. Jones stars as the head of a family on their way to Florida. Natalie Zea will star as his wife, and Ashley Gerasimovich and Liam Carroll will play his two children.
