South Africa sits at No. 2 in Pool B with a 2-1 record and a +1.260 net run rate.  They opened with a 62-run win against Zimbabwe, then lost by 130 runs to India before bouncing back Friday with a 257-run win against the West Indies.  Skipper AB de Villiers, winner of the Man of the Match award, led all scorers with 162 runs, and Hashim Amla, Faf du Plessis and Rilee Rossouw scored 65, 62, and 61 runs, respectively.

On the bowling front, Imran Tahir led the efforts with 10 outs and five taken wickets, and Kyle Abbott and Morne Morkel each took two wickets apiece.

Ireland, meanwhile, is 2-0 and one spot beneath South Africa in the standings because of a lower net run rate.  They won by four wickets against the West Indies, and on Wednesday won by two wickets against the United Arab Emirates.  Gary Wilson earned the Man of the Match award for his offensive performance, which included scoring a team-high 80 runs.  Ireland also played well on the bowling front, with four players taking two wickets apiece.
