Oklahoma City (32-25) has managed to claw their way into the No. 8 playoff spot, despite not having superstar Kevin Durant, who's recovering from undergoing a minor procedure to adjust a screw in his surgically repaired right foot.  The Thunder won their seventh straight game on Tuesday in a 105-92 win against the Indiana Pacers, thanks to - as the narrative has become - point guard Russell Westbrook.

Westbrook recorded a triple-double with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists against Indiana, pushing his season averages to 25.9 points, 6.5 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game.

"He just continues to stack games up on top of one another," coach Scott Brooks said, via ESPN.  "He's played well. He's doing a great job of leading us, leading the new guys and leading the group. Making it all come together."

Phoenix (30-28), meanwhile, is battling to get back into a playoff spot.  They snapped their five-game losing streak on Wednesday with a 110-96 win against the Denver Nuggets, thanks in part to newcomer Brand Knight's 19 points.

"It's all new and all coming so quickly," said Knight, who has averaged 17.3 points in three games since being acquired from Milwaukee, according to ESPN. "It will take time. But it's really just about making basketball plays."
