It's safe to say that actress Maiara Walsh, known for roles as a youngster on TV shows like Disney's "Cory In The House" and "Desperate Housewives," is all grown-up now. Just take a look at her gritty performance in "VANish," a film that's hitting DVD and Blu-ray this week.

In the film, Walsh, 27, plays Emma, "a kidnapped young woman [who] is forced on a road trip full of murder and mayhem that takes place entirely in her captor's getaway van," according to IMDB. On the DVD/Blu-ray cover, Walsh is shown dishelved and dirty, firing a gun, with a crazed look in her eyes - a far cry from her role as the sweet Meena Paroom in "Cory In The House," the "That's So Raven" spinoff that ran from 2007 to 2008 on Disney.

While Walsh's turn as Emma in the film might be seen as a departure from her initial image, it's not the first time she's shown a more sexy, adult side; last year, Walsh, also a singer, released an intimate music video for her cover version of John Legend's song "All Of Me." Watch it below:
