"Up" super-fan Steve Minty's wildest dreams came true when the pros at "Super-Fan Builds" built his dog a doghouse that looks exactly like Mr. Fredricksen's - balloons and all.
Minty is such a big fan of the movie that he regularly dresses like the energetic boy scout, Russell, and has a dog named Dug. (And yes, Dug is a girl!) The only thing Minty was missing was a house replica from the movie, so his best friend Esteban Gomez nominated him to have one built by Tim Baker, of Tim Baker Creations, and his team.
"I think it's phenomenal!" Minty said when he first laid his eyes on Dug's new house.
The movie "Up" is so inspiring to Minty that he created his own Russell costume to wear to Comic Con and frequently paints pictures inspired by the movie. Mindy's dog, Dug, even dons a "talking" collar with recorded MP3 phrases such as the famous line "squirrel."
