Have you ever wanted something delivered to your house on the same day? The easy answer is to get off your butt and buy it at the store. However, Amazon has expanded its shipping so that Manhattanites can receive their packages within an hour of ordering them.

Amazon Prime users in New York City's most densely populated borough have a new shipping option available to them, according to Tech Crunch: Amazon Prime Now. This new shipping option allows users to purchase certain products and have them delivered to their home within an hour of the payment. The shipping deal only applies to these certain products, such as books, towels, shampoo and batteries. Customers will be able to order products via Amazon.com, as well as through a specialized app.

Amazon has plans to expand Amazon Prime Now  to other large cities in the near future, but they'll probably finish expanding it to all of NYC. Amazon did not mention which neighborhood they'll be expanding to next.

Amazon Prime Now was first announced in December. Sadly, it was only available in Manhattan's 10001 zip code. However, Mashable discovered that Amazon has expanded the service to all of Manhattan. This comes after the success of Amazon's same-day grocery delivery service in Brooklyn.
