Alyson Stoner, the little girl in several of Missy Elliot's music videos, pays tribute to Missy Elliot in a dance video as an adult.

Stoner, 21, appeared in Elliot's videos for "Work It" and "Gossip Folks," according to TIME magazine. To pay homage to the woman who made her famous, Stoner released a mash-up of several of Elliot's hits in a tribute video.

Stoner released the video Thursday and Missy tweeted it saying "@AlysonOnTour was lil girl in my "work it" Gossipfolks video they grown up!"

Stoner performed in Missy's videos when she was 10-years-old, People magazine reported. In the tribute video, Stoner used the original dancers performing the original choreography in her tribute. They performed a mash-up of "Work It," "Gossip Folks" and "I'm Really Hot."

"Missy, thank you so much for the opportunity to dance for you and now carve a path of my own," Stoner said at the end of the video.

Stoner is an actress, musician and choreographer and has appeared in movies such as "Cheaper by the Dozen," "Camp Rock," "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" and "Step Up All In."

Elliot's social media blew up when she came back for a comeback performance during Katy Perry's Super Bowl halftime show Feb. 1.
