The Sacramento Kings are expected to be active before the NBA trade deadline, reportedly willing to make available a number of assets - including Derrick Williams and Nik Stauskas - to land a big trade.  One target Sacramento is believed to be pursuing is Oklahoma City Thunder guard Reggie Jackson, who purportedly could be had for the right price.

Sacramento has been linked to numerous trade rumors since owner Vivek Ranadive took over last season.  All reports indicate the Kings want to win now, and Basketball Insiders' Alex Kennedy confirmed the team will likely be aggressive before the Feb. 19 trade deadline passes.

"Sacramento has been extremely aggressive under Vivek Ranadive and Pete D'Alessandro and that will continue this year," Kennedy wrote Tuesday.  "They have plenty of assets including young players like Ben McLemore, Nik Stauskas, Derrick Williams and Ray McCallum and veterans such as Darren Collison, Jason Thompson, Carl Landry, Ramon Sessions and Reggie Evans - making them an attractive trade partner for both rebuilding teams and win-now teams.  ... Keep an eye on the Kings."

Kennedy reported his sources as saying Sacramento was shopping Williams, and CBS Sports' Ken Berger reported last week Sacramento would trade rookie Stauskas if it landed them a stretch-4 to play alongside DeMarcus Cousins.

The Kings tried this season to upgrade the 1-spot by adding Rajon Rondo, whom the Boston Celtics traded to the Dallas Mavericks; they were also at one point in trade talks with the Brooklyn Nets to take Deron Williams, although they were only willing to do so if it landed them Mason Plumlee.

One point guard target, according to Kennedy, could be Jackson.  The Kings' "win now" mentality would likely make them be OK with giving up assets for a player who could walk after the season as a restricted free agent.

This is speculation, but Phoenix Suns guard Goran Dragic could be another target for the Kings.
