Marvel Studios has released its second full-length trailer for "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

Some immediate takeaways here: Love that the "No Strings on Me" motif continues, albeit more subtly this time. Not nearly enough of the Scarlet Witch (a couple brief shots), Vision and Quicksilver (we don't see them at all here). I'm very curious as to why that is at this stage of the game? It's great to see the Hulk doing Hulk things, like kicking over SUVs soccer ball style and smashing the Hulkbuster armor with iron beams. Nice.

The sequel to 2012's wildly popular "Avengers" film, "Age of Ultron" brings Earth's Mightiest Heroes back together to combat Ultron, an intelligent, aware android created by Tony Stark. As the founding members oppose the constantly-evolving robot, they will discover new heroes in the form of superpowered twins the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver and also the Vision. Director and screenwriter Joss Whedon also returns to the director's chair for this second "Avengers" flick.

"Age of Ultron" is the grand finale of Marvel's Phase Two films, with the more character-driven "Ant-Man" left to round out its second slate of films.

You can check out the trailer below, which aired earlier this evening during Monday night's NCAA College Football Playoff Championship Game.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" hits screens in the U.S. on May 1. Thanks to Polygon for the tip.
