Five people sustained injuries from gunshot wounds after an altercation broke out at a Chris Brown performance at the Fiesta nightclub in San Jose, California.

Brown tweeted "I'm 100" later on Sunday to inform fans that he was unharmed following the shooting at his show, Rolling Stone magazine reportedThe tweet has since been removed.

Brown was performing at a birthday celebration hosted by San Francisco hip-hop station 106 KMEL when the shooting occurred. 

According to Entertainment Weekly, an altercation broke out at the venue during Brown's performance of his song "Loyal." 

Video footage from the club posted on Instagram shows Brown stopping mid-performance to acknowledge the fight.

"Oh, them n---as getting it in over there," Brown said into the microphone. 

Shortly after, a series of gunshots erupted in the club and Brown's security team ushered him off stage. 

Rolling Stone magazine said police found four people at the scene who obtained injuries and were transported to the hospital. The fifth person admitted him/herself to the hospital later. 

Police did not elaborate on the conditions of the victims, but said all are expected to survive. They have not arrested anyone in relation to the shooting. 

In August 2014, Brown hosted a pre-MTV Music Video Awards party, where Death Row Records executive Suge Knight was shot six times. 

At the time, Brown's representative said Brown was not involved with the shooting. He was merely hosting the event and would continue to cooperate with the investigation. 

Brown's Sunday concert was supposed to kick-start his larger North American tour that begins Jan. 27 in Hampton, Virginia.
