The Jacksonville Jaguars have fired offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco.

The Jaguars are coming off a disappointing 3-13 season. Rookie quarterback Blake Bortles showed brief flashes of potential greatness throughout the year, but the Jags' offense ranked 31st in yards per game (289.6) and dead last in points per game (15.6).

Fisch, 38, was hired as OC in January 2013. But in his two year stint, Jacksonville's offense has been the NFL's worst, according to Football Outsiders. Despite an influx of young receiving talent this season, Fisch was unable to turn Bortles' rookie season into a success story. Obviously, this had Jacksonville's front office concerned enough to make a move.

So who will replace Fisch?

Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union notes that Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley has become close with Marc Trestman, who was fired by the Chicago Bears yesterday. O'Halloran believes Trestman could be the preferred option to become the team's new OC.

The Bears ranked eighth and 21st in total yards per game in Trestman's two seasons as head coach.
