Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West are reportedly having a difficult time conceiving baby number two. The couple, who welcomed their daughter North in June, has been trying to conceive again for the past nine months.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star has been telling friends and family that despite their efforts, she's still not pregnant, according to TMZReportedly, Kardashian and West have been visiting fertility doctors, but they've been told that Kardashian getting pregnant a second time "is a long shot."

It turns out that North was a miracle baby, and before Kardashian found out she was expecting, three different doctors had told her she wouldn't be able to conceive. According to TMZ, the 34-year-old reality star and her husband thought conceiving a baby the second time would be a lot easier since she was able to get pregnant the first time.

Last year during an interview on the "Today" show, Kardashian admitted that she was shocked when she discovered she was pregnant with North.

"It's kind of a miracle that I even got pregnant," she said. "Khloe [Kardashian] has been very open about her fertility issues and I think I was always really kind of quiet about mine, and I have similar issues."

"So I think it's just such a blessing knowing my circumstances," she added.

Kardashian has been very vocal about her desire to give her daughter a little brother or sister. In September, she told Australia's "Today" morning program that she and West were working on another baby.

"We're trying," she said. "It's all in God's hands."
