Sorry, Jordan Matthews.

You're good, but you're no Odell Beckham Jr. - at least according to Philadelphia Eagles head coach, Chip Kelly.

Kelly revealed recently that, of all the available wide receiver talent in last April's NFL draft, he viewed the New York Giants' electrifying young wideout as the cream of the crop.

"In my opinion, I thought he was the best in the draft," Kelly said, per Jordan Raanan of NJ.com. "I think he's showing people that."

Kelly is right.

Buffalo's Sammy Watkins and Tampa Bay's Mike Evans - the only two wide receivers drafted ahead of Beckham and having quality rookie seasons of their own - may have something to say about that, but Beckham has already proved to the NFL world that he's one of the best players at his position - and in general - in the league.

With one more game on the schedule - against Kelly's Eagles, no less - Beckham already has 79 catches for 1,120 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Even more impressive? He's done that damage in only 11 games of work.

He was named a Pro Bowl alternate Tuesday and is very much in the conversation for Offensive Rookie of the Year.

When the Eagles and Giants faced off for the first time earlier in the season, Philly managed to hold Beckham to just two catches for 28 yards - the worst game of his rookie year.

That almost certainly won't be the case Sunday.

"They're obviously moving him around more," Kelly said. "You have to know where he is at all times. They're obviously putting him in more positions."

While Matthews - 59 catches for 767 yards and seven touchdowns - has had a fairly fantastic year himself, the notion of Beckham playing in Kelly's fast-paced, up-tempo offense is a dream scenario that would have Philly fans drooling and opposing defensive coordinators suffering nightmares.
