Pop singer Mariah Carey is facing another lawsuit from a former assistant who alleges the pop superstar owes her overtime payments, or seven years worth of back payments, according to Yahoo! News.

Ylser Oliver, 49, says she began working for the pop singer in March of 2007, and did things like clean Carey's New York home, answer all of Carey's phones, do her grocery shopping and pack her suitcases, often working 16-hour days, PageSix.com reported.

Oliver quit in June of 2014, and now alleges she worked seven days a week without meal breaks or proper overtime pay.

Carey is being sued over Oliver's claims that she is owed time-and-a-half pay when working more than 40 hours a week, Yahoo! reported.

Oliver's lawyer, Matthew Blit, said his client "put her family's life on hold while tending to Mariah Carey's family, and Mariah repaid her by underpaying her... My client is a very hardworking woman who treated Mariah and her family like her own, working all hours of the day and night. Even celebrities are required to abide by the law."

Blit also said Oliver is asking for "a significant amount of money."

Carey's spokeswoman, Cindi Berger, said, "I can't comment on anything that I'm not aware of and we haven't heard anything about this lawsuit."
