Painting complicated designs on your nails is no longer necessary thanks to a new app from NailSnaps that lets you decorate your digits with Instagram photos.

The app comes with a tutorial that aims to make it easier to put photos on. It shows how to rotate, re-size or zoom into pictures, according to ABC News. Users can save photos to a gallery and share them with friends, and photos are available in small and regular sizes.

"It allows you to create an entire story in five fingers," said Angel Anderson, co-creator of NailSnaps. "We wanted to make sure the user experience was easy and fun."

All users have to do is peel a picture off the sheet, press and smooth it onto their nails, and use the included nail file to take the edges off. You will also be able to buy photos through PayPal or with a credit card.

Anderson said he was inspired to create the app after looking at different kinds of nail art, according to ABC News.

"I love the idea of being able to take a picture and put it on your nails, so we decided on a very simple app to do that," Anderson said, adding that the photos will stay on your nails for about a week.

Having multiple photos on your hand is also an option, as is adding a top coat.

Those looking for a new tool for decorating their nails can get NailSnaps now for $19, free shipping included.
