Ariana Grande has had a banner year any way you look at it. In 2014 she consistently topped the charts with smash hits such as "Problem" and "Love Me Harder." And the pop star even received her first Grammy nomination.

The singer-songwriter was also honored as one of the music industry's most successful women--from artists to major record label executives--at Billboard magazine's 10th annual Women in Music Awards at New York City's Ciriani Wall Street on Thursday. Grande will also be a part of the magazine's annual Women In Music power list.

At the Billboard event, she was asked about her stand-out moments from 2014 and she quickly put her boyfriend Big Sean front and center.

"Performing on the [MTV Video Music Awards] with Jessie [J] and Nicki [Minaj]. Putting out 'Problem.' Spending half of June and most of July with my family in Florida. And, um, [boyfriend Big] Sean," she said.

Back on Dec. 5, she lit up the stage at the KIIS FM Jingle Ball in Los Angeles, and was joined by guest performer Big Sean for a steamy performance of their hit "Best Mistake."
