London-based startup Exod has started a Kickstarter campaign for a set of wireless headphones that use solar power to charge up.

The headphones, called Helios, are able to absorb energy from the sun thanks to its built-in solar panel, according to CNET. Putting the headphones out in the sun for one hour will allow you to listen to your favorite songs for half an hour.

The design for Helios is intended to solve the issues of tangled cords and the constant need to recharge Bluetooth headphones.

Sunlight isn't the only way you will be able to charge the headphones, as you can also charge the 430 mAh battery with a Micro USB cable plugged into an AC outlet on a cloudy day, Gizmag reported.

Additional features include a 3.5 mm audio jack for improving Bluetooth connection and an integrated microphone designed to let you talk to your friends and family on your headphones hands-free. The mic comes with buttons that you can use to adjust the volume, change tracks, take calls and turn the solar panel on or off.

Exod has set a $78,500 goal for its Kickstarter, and Helios has so far managed to raise $1,570, CNET reported. Potential backers have 37 days left to get this pair of sunlight-absorbing headphones, and early backers can now buy Helios for $157.
