Cleveland hasn't had the storybook start to their season that many fans hoped for.  The LeBron James-led team is still figuring out first-year coach David Blatt's system and how to function as a unit within it.  James, a four-time MVP and a two-time NBA champion, admitted this season is more challenging than winning his first title.

"This is more challenging than me trying to win my first championship," he told ESPN on Wednesday.  "Because that was a personal goal of mine.  Doing this was never a goal until I decided to come back to Cleveland.  ... I've taken on the burden of leading young guys, getting them to understand what it takes to win.  And it takes more than just basketball.

"It's about being a professional, not having a sense of entitlement, being grateful that you're a part of this league.  Those things have a lot to do with winning."

Although Cleveland 5-5, Wizards veteran Paul Pierce doesn't think the Cavaliers' record is indicative of how good their star-studded team will be by the end of the season - all the more reason for Pierce's Wizards to step up their game now.

"Their record doesn't show how good they're going to be," he said, via ESPN.  "It's time for us to start raising our level of play when these type of teams come in like a Dallas, a Cleveland.  The games get emotional, especially these big games.  The big thing for a young team is to not get caught in the moment.  We have a job to do, we have to go out and execute.  ... We're trying to improve and see where we are among the best teams in the league."

Washington (7-3) is coming off a 105-102 loss on Wednesday to Dallas.  One plus for the young team is the return of guard Bradley Beal, who missed the first nine games of the season with a broken wrist.
