Last week, photos surfaced of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson back on the Vancouver, Canada set of "Fifty Shades of Grey." It was reported that the two were re-shooting scenes as the film's main stars, Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

Now, a new report by US Weekly claims that Johnson and Dornan were asked to re-film certain sex scenes because they weren't "passionate." A source told US that the re-shoot was necessary because there was no chemistry between Dornan and Johnson.

"Dakota isn't coming off sexy enough. [Anastasia Steele] needs to be naïve, not a dishrag," the source said.

Fans of E.L. James' "Fifty Shades of Grey" trilogy - which the film is based off - have long been worried that the movie wouldn't be able to live up to the steamy novels, which describe explicit and passionate sex scenes between Ana and Christian.

Back in March, Universal Pictures unveiled the first teaser trailer during San Diego Comic-Con and there were a few complains that the scenes between the two main characters had been watered-down. The Los Angeles Times reported that the five-minute clip shown at Comic-Con focused more on the romance than the kinky stuff.

"Based on the roughly five minutes of footage Universal unveiled, the movie seemed far more tame than the steamy, S&M-heavy book it's based on," the LA Times wrote. "Though Anastasia was shown blindfolded, as well as being pushed up against a wall by Christian, the teaser featured very little sex."

However, a rep for Universal told US that fans don't have anything to worry about and "no one should question the heat or intensity of our actors."

"They want to do sequels," another source told the magazine. "So this has to be perfect."

"Fifty Shades of Grey" is expected to hit theaters February 2015.
