Netflix is back with another original series and we're already predicting that it's going to be a hit. The video streaming site released the first trailer for "Marco Polo" on Wednesday featuring crazy battle scenes, steamy sex scenes (with some nudity) and awesome sword fighting. Some are even labeling the series as the next "Game of Thrones."

According to the Daily News, the first season of "Marco Polo" contains 10 episodes and will be released Dec. 12. The historical drama stars Italian actor Lorenzo Richelmy as the lead and follows Marco Polo in his early years as he makes his way across 13th century China, ending up in Emperor Kubai Khan's court.

The series also stars Benedict Wong as Kubai Khan; Zhu Zhu as Kokachin; Tom Wu as Hundred Eyes; Remy Hii as Prince Jingim; Rick Yune in an undisclosed role; Olivia Cheng as Mei Lin; Claudia Kim as Khutulun; Uli Latukefu as Byamba; Joan Chen as Empress Chabi; Chin Han as Jia Sidao; and Amr Waked and Amarsaikhan Baljinnyam both in undisclosed roles.

John Fusco ("Young Guns") created the new series and also serves as executive producer, along with Daniel Minahan ("Game of Thrones" and "True Blood")
