Director Zack Snyder’s “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” production is officially setting up their set in New Mexico.

KOAT reports “Batman vs. Superman” will begin filming in New Mexico some time in mid-November, and the set is starting to look like it was inspired by Themyscira, Wonder Woman’s Amazonian home.

Fans will have to wait and see if Gal Gadot lands in New Mexico, but her Greek origins have been confirmed. “Batman vs. Superman” producer Charles Roven told “The Hollywood Masters”, series at Loyola Marymount School of Film, Wonder Woman isn’t a Kryptonian as some fans have speculated.

“Well Wonder Woman’s in it, we know that. She has powers, she’s a goddess. She’s half… she’s a demigod. Her father was Zeus,” Roven said.

Little is known otherwise about Gadot’s character, but the former Wonder Woman Lynda Carter has her own vision for the “Batman vs. Superman” actress. Carter admitted to Vulture she wants Wonder Woman just as tough as she is complex.

"Wonder Woman is about a lot more than just superhero stuff. She’s complicated," Carter said. "Ultimately, she’s about truth, and it’s all heart with her. She’s a strong female force."

She added, "I think females baffle men, and so, that’s made it difficult to get a Wonder Woman movie made. She’s strong, but she’s so much more — not everybody gets that ... Most important, I want her to have a heart and a strong sense of humor.”

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” starring Gadot, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne and Amy Adams will be released to theaters on March 25, 2016.
