You know it's bad when golden boy Tim Tebow is dissing you.

The Florida Gators (3-3, 2-3 in the SEC) are in free fall after an embarrassing 42-13 blowout loss in their homecoming game against Missouri last week. Coach Will Muschamp's job is in jeopardy, and Tebow is the latest in a growing group of college football observers to criticize the Gators.

"I don't think the offense has an identity right now, and I don't think that they know what they want their identity to be," said Tebow, who now works as an SEC Network analyst. "One of the biggest problems on the offense is leadership."

Fans have been heard chanting "Fire Muschamp" and booing quarterback Jeff Driskel recently.

"[The Missouri loss] was tough to watch," Tebow said. "If you're a Gator fan it was not easy to watch. They just didn't play with the heart that I'm used to watching Florida Gators play with."

Say what you want about Tebow, but he is a former Heisman Trophy winner with two national championships under his belt. Tebow has been a strong Muschamp supporter in the past, but it appears as if he's finally reached his breaking point. Muschamp has a 25-19 record as Florida's head coach, but has lost 10 of his last 13 games.

Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley said Monday that he will continue to "evaluate the season as it plays out." Florida will face off against the No. 9 Georgia Bulldogs in Jacksonville next week in one of its biggest rivalry games of the season.

Regardless of their record, Tebow says Florida still has something to play for.

"You need to have something to motivate you, something to give you an edge," Tebow said. "They're not out of the SEC East. Maybe they can rally around the 'our backs are against the wall' mentality...They need to get hyped and play with a chip on their shoulder when they come to Jacksonville."
