Actor Vin Diesel said “Fast & Furious 7” will be filmed in the Middle East, according to Digital Spy.

"We're definitely going back home, as you know from seeing Fast and Furious 6” said in an interview with Digital Spy. "We will have a stint in Tokyo and there is the Middle East next, that could be very interesting." Diesel plays Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious franchise.

Recently, actress Michelle Rodriguez confirmed the July 2014 release of the seventh installment on NBC Latino’s “Cafecito,” according to The New York Daily News.

During her interview with the show’s host, Feliciano Garcia, Rodriguez—who plays Toretto’s girlfriend Letty Ortiz—said she knew the revival of Letty was a pretty big deal.

“What pressure I felt. Just to know that the fans asked for me back and that Vin [Diesel] fought tooth and nail to bring me back to the franchise,” she told Garcia. If there wasn’t already enough expectations for Rodriguez, the pressure was heightened by Universal Pictures who threw $200 million into getting Letty Ortiz back in action.

One of the things Rodriguez anticipated most about the movie was her on-screen fight with Professional Mixed Martial Artist Gina Carano.

“Going up against Gina Carano, my first instinct was [that] whatever happens I can’t let down that little tomboy that’s screaming in my ear on my shoulder, the one that’s like ‘You better not mess this up. We’re counting on you,’” Rodriguez said.

She said the fight had to be authentic unlike the “‘Kill Bill’-style [fights] where the girls are getting knocked all over the place and all of a sudden you’re in a room of fifty people and they all drop from one move. It’s not believable.”

“Now, in today’s day and age, girls actually despise a girl who’s weak,” she added. “Even the guys react negatively to the hot girl that’s just there to bone. They’re like ‘I can go to Hooters for that.’”

“Fast & Furious 6” was a hit in its opening weekend achieving the best opening for a Universal Pictures release at $160 million.
