R&B singer August Alsina is still on the road to recovery after collapsing during a concert last month in New York City. According to MTV, the 22-year-old cancelled a London show scheduled for this past weekend under doctor's orders.

A rep for Alsina said the singer had not been cleared by doctors to travel overseas so he was forced to cancel his appearance at Kevin Hart's HartBeat weekend. He was set to perform for the opening night on Oct. 11.

"Apologies to my London/UK fans, @KevinHart4real and #HartBeatWeekend. Docs advised me not to fly, so my performance tomorrow is cancelled," Alsina tweeted on Friday.

The "No Love" singer's rep told Billboard in a statement that Alsina was still recovering from his fall and was advised to take it easy.

"Due to the well-publicized fall from a stage in New York last month which caused August to be hospitalized for more than a week, his medical team has advised him that it would be unwise to travel such a distance so soon into his recovery," the statement read. "August has asked us to convey his disappointment and sadness that he will be unable to perform. We all wish him the very best of luck and a speedy recovery."

Last month, Alsina was performing at Irving Plaza in New York City when he fell off the stage into the crowd, hitting his head. He was taken to a local hospital where doctors placed him in a medically-induced coma for three days. His rep also told TMZ that Alsina had suffered a few seizures while hospitalized.

He was released on Sept. 30 to finish his recovery at home. According to Billboard, Alsina also postponed overseas concerts in Abu Dhabi and Dubai but he is still scheduled as an opening act on Usher's North American arena tour, which begins Nov. 1.
