National Donut Day is this Friday, June 7, and who doesn't like donuts, especially free doughnuts? National Doughnut Day was established in 1938 by The Salvation Army to raise funds for people in need during the depression, and is observed every year on the first Friday of June.

To celebrate, a few donut shops are offering a free donut deal. Here is a roundup of all the chain stores participating in Nation Doughnut Day 2013 by dishing out free doughnuts:

Krispy Kreme: Go grab a free doughnut of any flavor --including the world famous Original Glazed. The great thing is that no purchase is necessary. Offer good while supplies last, the company said.

Krispy Kreme can be found at over 740 locations in 22 countries around the world and approximately 10,000 grocery, convenience and mass merchant stores in the U.S. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc.

Dunkin' Donuts: Get a free doughnut with the purchase of any beverage. The two new flavors you can find in Dunkin' Donut shops are Lemonade and Key Lime filled donuts.

LaMar's Donuts: Get a free doughnut with no purchase necessary. The company said a portion of this week's sales are being donated to The Salvation Army.

Tim Hortons : Get a free doughnut after purchasing anything on the menu. The only catch is you need to take a printed coupon with you to redeem the offer which can be found at Tim Horton's Facebook page.

Enjoy your free treats this National Doughnut Day!
