Kristen Stewart is leaving blockbuster Hollywood movie films like the "Twilight" film franchise, to star in two upcoming Indie movies.

Stewart, the young Hollywood actress who was publically caught cheating on longtime boyfriend and co-star Robert Pattinson, is attached to two projects, political drama "Camp X-Ray" and "Sils Maria". Peter Sattler will direct her in the first film, which is also written by him, according to Deadline.com. As for the latter, Olivier Assayas will be the director. Both are set to be filmed this summer.

Sils Maria is a psychological drama and Stewart will star along Juliette Binoche and Chloë Grace Moretz. Stewart star as an assistant to Binoche's character, an actress who is obsessed with young actress (Moretz) playing the role that made the older actress' name rise to stardom. The movie is set in Switzerland.

Meanwhile, Camp X-Ray is the story of a young woman who enlists in the army to escape her small-town existence, only to find herself stationed at Guantanamo Bay. After struggling to maintain authority over the Muslim men she's assigned to watch, she befriends a young man who is imprisoned in the facility for eight years.

Stewart wrapped up the "Twilight" saga last year with the release of "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," where she completed the journey of her character, Bella Swan.

She also has other movies lined up where she will act opposite Jim Sturgess in upcoming comedy "The Big Shoe", and reprise her role as Snow White respectively in "Snow White and the Huntsman Sequel".
