Rising country music singer and "Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale is getting the chance to hang out with Ellen DeGeneres.

The singer-actress is taping The Ellen DeGeneres Show today (Oct. 7) and the episode will air tomorrow (Oct. 7). On the show, she will be performing her infectious new single "Lie A Little Better."

Hale starts shooting the new season of "Pretty Little Liars" next month. In the popular drama series, she portrays Aria Montgomery, a teenager with a lot of secrets, according to IMDB.

Hale was thrilled to find out that she will be appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, reports Broadway World, as evidenced when Hale tweeted to her more than 4 million Twitter followers "SO Excited! I'll be performing on the @TheEllenShow on Oct 7th! Hope I get to dance with you Ellen #LucyOnEllen."

"Lie A Little Better" is from Hale's recently-released 11-song debut album, "Road Between."  The up-tempo track was written by Melissa Peirce, Mike Daly and Chris DeStefano.

The music video for the song, filmed at the Opry House the same weekend as Hale made her Grand Ole Opry debut, has amassed more than 1.5 million views.

While Hale, born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, made her mark early on as an actress, best known for her role on the hit ABC Family drama "Pretty Little Liars," music was always her first love, according to Broadway World.

"I just love the thrill of performing on stage. I believe that singing is something I was put here to do," explains Hale, reports IMDB.

Earlier this year, Hale earned the distinction of being named one of CMT's "Next Women Of Country" She will perform as part of "CMA Country Christmas," taping November 7 and airing this holiday season on the ABC Television special.
