One of Mexico's most wanted drug lords was captured Wednesday by the Mexican Army, reported CNN Mexico. And he was captured without a single shot fired.

Hector Beltran Leyva was caught at a seafood restaurant in San Miguel de Allende in central Mexico. According to the director of criminal investigation for Mexico's Attorney General's Office Tomás Zerón de Lucio, Beltran Leyva had been under investigation for 11 months. There was a reward of more than $2 million being offered by Mexican and a reward of up to $5 million offered by the U.S. State Department's Narcotics Rewards Program, reported CNN.

Known as "El Ingeniero" ("The Engineer"), Beltran Leyva had been "laying low" in an attempt to appear like an ordinary businessman. The State Department said that Beltran Leyva's cartel transported weapons and ammunition and The Associated Press via Yahoo! News reported that "U.S. and Mexican authorities say the Beltran Leyva gang is responsible for trafficking drugs to the United States and Europe including cocaine, marijuana, heroin and methamphetamine."
