Philadelphia overcame a 17-0 first half deficit last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars and escaped with a 34-17 win after a strong fourth quarter.  A big part of the comeback victory was due to the play calling of Eagles coach Chip Kelly, whom Indianapolis spent a lot of time studying during the week.

"Everybody's kind of taken a peak into what (Kelly's) done since he's come into the league, and I think everybody kind of studied and looked at what he did," Colts coach Chuck Pagano told the team website.  "People have been studying what Coach Kelly's done for a long time.  Really smart guy, really smart coach and innovative.  I think along with us, everybody else is the same way.  Everybody's kind of looking to see how you can get an edge."

Pagano will have to find a way to slow down the Eagles' offense without Pro Bowler Robert Mathis, who suffered a season-ending Achilles tendon tear last week while working out on his own.  Although Indianapolis didn't expect to have Mathis for the first four games because of a suspension, they didn't anticipate not having him for the entire season.

"We knew we'd be without Robert for the first four games, but really a devastating blow," Pagano said of the injury.  "We hate to lose anybody.  This one stings, but like always, nobody is better equipped to handle circumstances and adversity than this group."

Indianapolis is coming off a 31-24 loss last week to the Denver Broncos.
