George Clooney's fiancee Amal Alamuddin's rep confirmed that the British lawyer is not pregnant despite media reports suggesting that she is.

Earlier this week pregnancy rumors revolving around Alamuddin went viral. However, a rep of the British lawyer has disputed these rumors. According to Us Weekly, the rep confirmed to the magazine that Alamuddin is "not pregnant."

Earlier in August, two magazines claimed that Alamuddin is pregnant with Clooney's child.  The Sept. 1 issue of Life & Style is covered in pictures of Amal wearing a white maxi dress. The dress poked out just around her belly, which looked like a baby bump. The cover of OK! Magazine also suggested similar developments.

Hollywood Life reported that it was Clooney who wanted to have a baby sooner than later while Alamuddin wanted to wait.

"Amal wanted to wait a year and enjoy married life, but not George. He wanted to have children soon after getting married, so he considers this great news because having a family is more important than having a lavish ceremony," a source explained to the tabloid.

Though there's no baby coming, the couple has its hands full with planning their "intimate" wedding and Clooney is all geared up for the occasion. The wedding is expected to take place this month at Lake Como, Italy, where the Oscar winner has a home, Villa Oleandra.

"George has always loved Como, he finds it very peaceful and relaxing, and now Amal has fallen in love with the area as well," an insider told E! News. "They want to start their married life there with the beautiful lake as a backdrop. George's home on the lake is like a very well-oiled machine. He has the local mayor fully on his side and the locals, too, and he can ensure that press and paparazzi are kept away."

The couple announced their engagement this April. Reports have it that Clooney proposed to Alamuddin with a $750,000 diamond ring.
