Is James Franco joining "American Horror Story: Freak Show"? The actor teased fans and hinted that he was joining the Season 4 cast when he posted a photo to his Instagram page of "Freak Show" member Emma Roberts with the caption, "American Horror Story! (What a good co-star. She's the effin' BEST!)."

Even though fans commented on the photo that he would be a great addition to the cast, it looks like Franco was only teasing. The actor and Roberts are currently filming their new movie, "Michael," based on a true story about Michael Glatze, founder of Young Gay America magazine.

Glatze made headlines when he suddenly announced that he no longer identified as a homosexual, became a Christian pastor and married a woman. Franco and Roberts play husband and wife in the film. There is a new addition to the "Freak Show" cast. Creator Ryan Murphy announced that "White Collar" star Matt Bomer was joining Season 4 in an unspecified role.

Recently FX released a new poster that featured the "Freak Show" characters. Kathy Bates' Ethel Darling will be a bearded lady; Angela Bassett's Desiree looks like she has three breasts; Michael Chiklis' Wendell dell Toledo will be a circus strongman; and it looks like Emma Roberts' character, Maggie, is stuffed into a cage. It was already reported that Sarah Paulson would play two-headed Dot and Bette Tattler.

The network also released another teaser that showed a pretty acrobatic lady doing a pose with three legs. Check out the video below.

Season 4 "begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Fla. the year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of the townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience."
