Country star LeAnn Rimes is getting a scripted reality TV show with her husband Eddie Cibrian, she told People magazine. With all the public attention her relationship with Cibrian has received, Rimes told the magazine she wants to invite viewers into her home to give people a chance to really get to know them.

"We're doing a TV show based on our reality. We'll take things out of our lives and celebrate them and make them funny," Rimes said. "People have been laughing at us - we want them to laugh with us!"

Rimes and Cibrian met in 2008 on the set of Lifetime's "Northern Lights." The two received negative attention when they fell for each other and ended both of their marriages. They have been married since 2011.

"For some reason, everyone is so interested in our lives but they don't actually know about them," Rimes told the magazine. "What they read is what they see. We want to able to take control of our lives again so we want to do a show about us, about our lives, but scripted."

The reality show will not be airing anytime soon. It is still in the beginning planning stages with a network or title yet to be determined but Rimes said she is looking forward to doing the show so she can work with her husband again.

"That's why we explored the idea of doing the show, to be able to be together," Rimes said.

It has been rumored that Rimes would be joining the cast of another reality show. According to People, it was speculated that Rimes would be the latest housewife on "Real Housewives on Beverly Hills," which currently stars Cibrian's ex-wife Brandi Glanville.

Both Glanville and Rimes quickly shut the rumors down.

"That's all farce. She wouldn't do it," Glanville told the magazine. "She squashed it on Twitter. My people would never do that to me. It wouldn't happen."

Rimes added "That would never cross my mind. Never in a million years!"

Rimes and Glanville have been publicly clashing ever since 2009.
